General Information:

Terminales Quimicos de Puerto Cabello (Terquimca) is located inside the main installations of the port of Puerto Cabello with a total surface aprox. 260.000 square Mts. of a floating platform. The terminal operates 24 hrs. a day. Only liquid cargoes such as chemicals and vegetable oils can be discharged either directly to trucks or to shore tanks using hoses of six to eight inches diameter. The terminal has available flanges reduction from 10 inches. Discharge rates range from 150 to 200 Tons/ph. Shore tanks total capacity 35.000 M3. The loading station to trucks can supply 60 tons per hour.

Anchorage/Approaches:

The anchorage area is the same as for Puerto Cabello. Anchorage zones are marked as Charley Bay.

Pilotage:

It is compulsory to have a pilot on board for mooring and unmooring operations who will board the vessel in the Charley Bay area.

Bunker/Fresh Water:

Bunker and Fresh water not available. Arrangements can be made to have bunkers delivered ex barge alongside berth or at anchorage or by trucks alongside pier. Arrangements have to be made through Deltaven. Fresh water can be supplied ex truck at pier. Tugboats

General Information:

Venterminales handles bulk cargo, dry and liquid products. It is a Terminal with an 805-meter long jetty, which operates 24 hours a day and equipped to load and unload vessels with up to a 35-foot draft. Dry bulk products are handled with a 12 ton, movable crane that transfers the cargo from the vessel to a reversible conveyor belt. Discharge rates range from 2000 to 2500 ton/per day (Subject to Nature of Cargo). Current storage capacity for dry products is 60,000 tons. The jetty consists of three berths: berth 'A' and 'B' exclusively for liquids and berth 'C' for dry cargo. There are no ballast facilities available.

Bunker: (Very Important Note)

Not Facilities available from berth nor at Anchorage (As per Port Regulations) Only way to deliver Bunker is Shifting Vessel from Venterminales to Bolipuerto (Public Dock) If any Bunker Requirement Naves will Revert with Bunkering PDA at Bolipuerto Public Dock for Bunkering Fund Transfer.
